Aunt Mary’s Chocolate Wafer Log
Ingredients
2 boxes of Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons confectioner’s sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
In a chilled bowl, combine whipped cream, confectioner’s sugar and vanilla. Beat with mixer until stiff peaks form.
Spread a serving teaspoon onto each flat side of the wafer.
Press wafers together in stacks of 5.
With a chilled platter, spread a row of whipped cream down the center of plate.
Then assemble wafer stacks into a log on top of the line of whipped cream.
Frost with the remaining whipped cream.
Cover tightly and refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.
Cut dessert diagonally into 12 slices.
Garnish with grated chocolate, wafer crumbs and/or chocolate sauce.
