Aunt Mary’s Chocolate Wafer Log

Ingredients
  • 2 boxes of Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers
  • 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons confectioner’s sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
  • In a chilled bowl, combine whipped cream, confectioner’s sugar and vanilla. Beat with mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread a serving teaspoon onto each flat side of the wafer.
  • Press wafers together in stacks of 5.
  • With a chilled platter, spread a row of whipped cream down the center of plate.
  • Then assemble wafer stacks into a log on top of the line of whipped cream.
  • Frost with the remaining whipped cream.
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.
  • Cut dessert diagonally into 12 slices.
  • Garnish with grated chocolate, wafer crumbs and/or chocolate sauce.
